Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips lost a solo homer after an umpire's review.Phillips hit what was initially ruled his second home run of the game off Pittsburgh's Paul Maholm during the fifth inning on Monday night. The drive down the left-field line flirted with the foul pole, and third base umpire Dan Iassogna signaled a home run.Several Pirates players immediately questioned the call, as did manager John Russell. After the umpires conferred, crew chief Rick Reed _ working behind the plate _ viewed replays that showed the ball had curved foul. The review took 1 minute, 55 seconds and resulted in the first overturned call at Great American Ball Park.Phillips went back to the plate and singled, but was left stranded.
