Parents in crowbar fight sentenced after guilty plea

They arranged a fight between their son and another teen. Now, two local parents have heard what their punishment will be for their involvement.

Christopher Peterson had a person sentence suspended but will have to serve six months in the county jail. His wife, Vanessa Peterson, also had her sentence suspended but will be on probation for three years.

The Petersons were also ordered to pay $200 in restitution to the victim.

The fight happened back in February and was caught on a cell phone camera. The video showed Chris Peterson hitting another boy with a crowbar.

The Petersons pleaded guilty for their part in that fight.
