Former Louisville basketball player Luke Whitehead has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of drug trafficking.

Whitehead, 28, was arrested last week after police found five pounds of marijuana, two handguns, digital scales and $4,680 in cash during a search of his house. He was released on $10,000 bond last Thursday.

His attorney, Thomas Clay, had no comment. A pretrial hearing is set for Nov. 9.

Whitehead played at Louisville from 2000-04, averaging 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds during his career with the Cardinals.
