Most Fees at the DMV will go up 25 percent starting today. The increase is part of New York State's budget that passed in June. Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul expects the fees to bring in 370 million dollars a year. She says they are excessive, and will affect upstate residents more than NYC residents.
