A 47-year-old man is accused of attacking his twin brother with a machete because his brother would not stay out of his room, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report said.

Vincent James Baker was arrested early Monday and charged with aggravated domestic battery. He was being held without bail today at the Land O' Lakes Jail, the report said.

According to the sheriff's office, Vincent Baker struck his brother, Victor Baker, in the forehead, finger and other parts of the body with a machete after Vincent told Victor to stay out of his room; the Bakers live at 1344 Dartmouth Drive, Holiday. The incident happened about 2:45 a.m.

Victor Baker was bleeding profusely when deputies arrived, the report said. He was flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where his condition was not immediately available.

Vincent Baker told investigators he told his brother not to enter his room or he would kill him.

When Victor Baker again entered the room, his brother started swinging the machete "striking him in the forehead and anywhere else he could," the report says.
