A New York City man convicted of a 25-year-old killing in Atlantic City is getting a new trial.Brian Wilson was convicted in 2006 of murdering Zebedee Newmones and sentenced to 65 years in prison with no parole for 30 years. But a New Jersey appeals court Tuesday found that prosecutors should have disclosed information about some of the witnesses who testified against Wilson.Wilson was on the New Jersey State Police's most wanted list until his arrest in 2002. Two trials ended without a verdict before he was convicted at a third trial.Wilson claimed he was at the scene of the crime but didn't fire the gun. Tuesday's ruling held that the trial judge should have told jurors they could consider the lesser offense of manslaughter.
