A Rhode Island man was indicted Tuesday on charges of sex crimes against a 13-year-old Bedford County girl whom deputies said he met through an online game. Andrew Fitzgerald Holloway, 21 at the time of his arrest in February, has been indicted on two counts of computer solicitation and three counts of unlawful carnal knowledge. A mental health evaluation delayed Holloway’s indictment, said Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Wes Nance. Bedford County authorities said Holloway started an online relationship with the girl about six months before he flew to the area Feb. 3. Deputies said the two met while playing an online Xbox video game, Lost Planet. The teen’s parents reported her missing the same night that Holloway arrived by plane in the area. The two were discovered the next day less than a mile from the girl’s home after wandering overnight in the woods in an area between New London and Evington, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office said.
