Deliberations are now under way in a civil rights lawsuit filed against the city of LaVergne.
Two former city workers are suing the city, saying the city has made their family lives difficult after they filed complaints of racism in the workplace.
City officials said it never happened.
The workers' attorney said the men can't get back the time they lost, so they're asking for money instead. They're each seeking $400,000 in damages.
Deliberations will last for five days.
