The RiverPlex is hosting Peoria's biggest garage sale this weekend.
Bargain hunters are out in full force at the 63rd annual Julep's Closet sale. The event is organized by the Junior League of Peoria.
Shoppers can find quality items such as clothing, toys and sports equipment, and save money in the process.
"Very reasonable prices," said Kylie Rupe, a Junior League volunteer. "Our pants are usually between $4 and $10. Tops are the same. Great prices. Garage sale prices for very high end, nice things."
Paul Stromberg was there carrying a load of items his wife picked out to buy.
"This is the honey pile," said Stromberg of the load in his arms. "She said carry this, carry that. We've got shirts, shoes and some sporting equipment."
About a thousand people are expected to shop at Julep's Closet, which continues through Sunday.
