If you'd like to ski or hike a Wisconsin trail lit by hundreds of candles at night, you'll have a number of chances over the next two weekends.
State officials are planning nine events for Saturday and eight on the following Saturday, Feb. 13. The candlelight events are at state parks and forests across Wisconsin, and typically include bonfires and hot chocolate.
The Department of Natural Resources Web site has a list of parks and events. You can check for updates there and confirm that events haven't been canceled due to weather.
The DNR says turnout has been good at other candlelight events this winter, even with colder weather.
Only two more candlelight events are scheduled this winter — one on Feb. 27 and the other on March 6.
