Police said a Des Moines woman's car was rammed twice by another car on Wednesday.

The woman said her vehicle was stopped at 55th Street and University Avenue around 6 p.m. near Glendale Cemetery when her car was rammed twice from behind.

According to police reports, a person rear-ended the victim's vehicle, and then reversed and rear-ended the vehicle a second time before driving away. The collision shattered the woman's rear window and caused significant damage to the vehicle's cargo door. No injuries were reported.

A witness reported seeing the person driving erratically and at a very high speed northbound on 55th Street right before the collision occurred.

Other witnesses at the scene described the person's vehicle as a four-door white truck. Police reports indicate the collisions were intentional.

The woman reported to police that the driver smiled and waved before leaving the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
