COLUMBIA, Md., Oct. 27, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integral Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq:ISYS) announced today that Steve Williams, Business Area Manager, Signal Monitoring at RT Logic, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, will be presenting at the International Telemetering Conference 2010 (ITC 2010). He will discuss how Range Test Systems (RTS) that utilize Channel Simulator technology can be used by Test Range personnel to ensure mission success and reduce risk by simulating a proposed flight's exact RF signal conditions. ITC 2010 will be held at the Town and Country Resort and Convention Center in
San Diego, Ca., on October 25-28, 2010.
Event: International Telemetering Conference 2010 (ITC 2010)
Presentation Title: Advanced Test Range Verification at RF Without Flights
Event Date/Time: Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 9:00 am, PT
Location: Town and Country Resort and Convention Center, Royal Palm 4 Room, San Diego, Ca.
Mr. Williams will outline how RF Channel Simulator technology and sophisticated RTS can be constructed for range test, verification and training. RTS ensure range and range asset functionality, performance and mission readiness. RTS enhance range personnel and customer confidence in mission success, reducing associated time, cost and risk. They also provide significant regression test and compatibility test opportunity, assuring continued range functionality when range equipment, software, firmware or processing algorithms are modified. RTS can assist with range training missions, as they provide full range functionality without actual flights being required. Such training "flights" can be conducted under nominal conditions or with injected mission impairments.
Leading up to the Advanced Test Range Verification presentation, Mr. Williams discussed basic Channel Simulator technology in a presentation entitled "Advanced Hardware-in-the-Loop Testing Assures RF Communication System Success" at ITC 2010 on Tuesday, October 26 at 2:30 pm, PT, in the Royal Palm 4 room.
