SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., Nov. 3, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In a landmark shift for offline lead generation, a major national bank has selected The 800 Exchange, a lead generation and advertising agency based in San Juan Capistrano, to design and implement a pilot program for its consumer mortgage business. Due to its prominence, the bank asked to remain anonymous until the advertisements are on the air starting November 15th.

"We are very proud to have landed such a high-caliber client," Edward Shin, CEO of The 800 Exchange, said in announcing the project. "After months of pursuing and educating the company about pay-per-performance advertising, all of us are extremely excited to begin producing their commercials. Our mission is to create accountability in how advertising dollars are spent, and to have a Fortune 50 company participate in our program says a lot about how far we've come in promoting this form of marketing."

Separately, Shin also announced that The 800 Exchange recently launched a pilot program for a major automotive manufacturer providing advertising for its Service business. "As we continue to land these large accounts, we will have significant influence on how clients and the public perceive pay-per-performance advertising for radio and television. Instead of being considered a 'second tier' form of advertising, it will become seen as a premier way for companies to measure their marketing ROI."

The bank campaign will run from November 15 through December 30. If it achieves the anticipated level of success, Shin said he expects The 800 Exchange to be able to participate in the bank's overall national marketing budget for more than its mortgage products during 2011.

"Consumer banking, private wealth management and insurance services are all on the table if we prove the mortgage model to be as successful as it has for our other clients," Shin said.
