(Nasdaq:PRKR) ("ParkerVision") today announced the closing of its previously announced registered offering of 2,829,520 shares of its common stock at a price of $0.42 per share to certain clients of a Boston-based institutional investment adviser that has been a beneficial shareholder of ParkerVision for a number of years.
Net proceeds from the sale of the shares, after deducting offering expenses, were approximately $1.14 million. The Company plans to use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and for other general corporate purposes, including funding its research and sales and marketing activities.
