The winner will be announced during GSA's Awards Dinner on 9 December 2010 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley.
According to the GSA, the Most Respected Private Semiconductor Company Award " is designed to identify the private company garnering the most respect of the industry in terms of its products, vision and future opportunity." This is the second nomination for SiGe Semiconductor in the company's history for an award that is one of the most prestigious recognitions of private companies in the semiconductor industry. Previous winners include industry leaders such as NVIDIA, Marvell Semiconductor, Atheros Communications, Cavium Networks, AuthenTec and Open-Silicon.
