EXETER, R.I., March 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Carousel Industries, a leader in data networking and unified communications, announced that it has completed its acquisition of Farmingdale, NY-based Juma Technology Corp., an Avaya Business Partner.
With the acquisition, Carousel Industries significantly increases its footprint to serve customers in the northeastern United States while augmenting its engineering staff with additional talent.

Juma Technology established itself as a data networking solutions provider back in 2002, and began designing and selling converged solutions as soon as they began to appear on the market. The company -- which focuses primarily on enterprise customers -- has been able to develop special expertise implementing convergence solutions across a range of vertical markets including retail, healthcare, education (K-12 and university) and financial.
The purchase of Juma Technology marks the sixth acquisition by Carousel in the last two years. Since January, the company has completed its purchase of Westwood, Mass.-based TAC Centre and signed a letter of intent to acquire Marlborough, Mass-based OmniPresence. Last year, the company acquired Atlanta-based LANForce Consulting Group, assets from Canton, Mass.-based TriNET Systems and Canada-based BrantTel Networks.
