A Bridgeport man wearing only underwear and sneakers was arrested and tasered by police. Officers believe Robert Frye, 30, was high on PCP when he put up a fight on midnight Tuesday, reports the Connecticut Post.
The altercation took place at the intersection of Bunnell and Williston streets after reports of a naked man in the streets shouting that he was going to kill someone, police said.
Before the officer could get out of his cruiser, Frye rushed at him and started kicking the car doors, police told the Post. Frye had his fists clenched and they shoy him twice with a stun gun to subdue him. Frye was taken by paramedics to the hospital to be treated.
He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer. His bond was set at $1,500.
