A popular portion of a trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park has reopened.
The Abrams Falls Trail from Cades Cove to some waterfalls is open again after repairs were made following a tornado in late April.
Several other trails remain closed until work can be completed. According to park officials, there is no estimate about when this will be done.
More than 33 miles of trails were damaged by thousands of trees that were blown down.
The park has 9.4 million visitors annually and ranks as the most visited national park.
