DALLAS, June 1, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Merchant services provider Certified Payment Processing (CPP) set several records in 2009. For 2010, the company is once again reporting a successful year.
According to the year-end audit, earnings for the company were up by 15 percent. New (credit card processing) equipment installations were up more than 10 percent over the previous year. And while many businesses were laying off employees, CPP increased their national field sales force by 28 percent.
"In this economy, businesses are looking ways to save money," says Tony Norrie, Vice President and General Manager of CPP. "I believe our success is proof that we're providing the right products and services to our merchants."
Also in 2010, CPP began a new merchant services sales division—ISIS Direct. The beta phase of the new venture proved extremely successful, and the organization experienced significant growth, with nearly 100 sales associates in the field by the end of the year. There have already been numerous promotions within the company, as well as stepped-up recruiting to meet the demands of growth.
CPP is a direct provider of credit card processing services and also leases point-of-sale terminals that quickly process all forms of payments: debit card and credit card transactions, gift cards and checks. Now with three direct sales entities—TransTech Merchant Group, Summit Merchant Solutions and ISIS Direct—the products and merchant services offered are designed to help businesses increase revenue, control costs, improve efficiency, enhance data security and provide their customers with the most popular payment methods.
