("UniTek" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:UNTK), a premier provider of permanently outsourced infrastructure services to the telecommunications, broadband cable, wireless, two-way radio, transportation, public safety and satellite industries, today announced that it has been awarded a three-year, $30 million single source construction contract by a national telecommunications carrier for construction and maintenance of the carrier's network.

Under the agreement, UniTek's Nexlink Communications subsidiary will provide engineering and construction services on the carrier's fiber and copper-based network. Additionally, UniTek will provide maintenance and support services across multiple markets in which this carrier operates.
