Kratos Completes Multi-Million Dollar Critical Infrastructure Security System Deployments

SAN DIEGO, June 6, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that it has successfully completed certain previously unannounced contract awards for the installation of specialized security and surveillance systems integrated into command and control infrastructure at water treatment and other critical infrastructure locations in the United States. The majority of these specialized security system deployments were awarded as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Critical Infrastructure Key Resources (CIKR) programs to provide and enhance security of the nation's water supply and other critical or strategic infrastructure. Security system solutions deployed included video surveillance, access control, perimeter detection, infrared lighting and other structural hardening solutions developed to deter, detect and deny unauthorized entry to these critical locations and assets. Specific customers, locations and other contract related information will not be provided.
