WALNUT CREEK, Calif., June 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank has announced that Kristin M. Stansbury has joined the Private Client Services team in the East Bay region as vice president and senior private banker.
With more than 20 years of banking industry experience, Stansbury will focus on developing new client relationships and providing exceptional service to City National clients in the East Bay. She will deliver tailored banking and lending solutions to high-net-worth families, select nonprofits and professional services firms, and work with a team of professionals to advise clients on their overall comprehensive wealth management strategies.
Stansbury will report to David Lawrence, a senior vice president and manager of Private Client Services in the East Bay region. She will be based at City National's Regional Banking Center in Walnut Creek.

Before joining City National, Stansbury worked for Northern Trust for nearly 18 years. She started in the private banking group in Illinois before relocating to California, where she served on the company's Wealth Advisory Team in San Francisco. She began her career in 1987 at First Interstate Bank in Los Angeles.
A graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Stansbury holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
Stansbury has served as a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. She currently volunteers as a director, vice president and chair of the Finance Committee for the Bay Area's Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra.
