Sinobiomed (d/b/a Sitoa Global) Announces Strategic Partnership With Solana HK Limited for Hosting Asia Pacific Marketplaces

/ Source: GlobeNewswire

SAN CARLOS, Calif., June 16, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sinobiomed Inc. (d/b/a Sitoa Global Inc.) (OTCQB:STOA) (the "Company"), an e-commerce facilitator, today announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Solana HK Limited for the hosting of its e-commerce marketplaces in the Asia Pacific region. Solana, found at , is based in Hong Kong and offers a full line of communications services, including colocation and network facilities, strategic consulting solutions and value-added voice and data solutions for international carriers and multinational corporations.

The Company will deploy its own Keychain data center and rely on its in-house base of telecommunication assets for hosting all of its operated and managed marketplaces in the Asia Pacific region, including the newly announced marketplaces Chunjie365 and ShopShipUSA. Solana will advise the Company on all the technical aspects of the build-out, as well as on all internet, data and hosting initiatives undertaken in the region.

Cal Lai, the Company's President and CEO, commented, "With our relationship with Solana now solidly in place, our customers in the region, including those through our recent partnerships with Chunjie365 and ShopShipUSA, will benefit from our ability to offer them fast, reliable and scalable online shopping experiences." He continued, "We believe that we have also effectively solved many of the problems frequently encountered by large scale web-based operations in foreign countries, including being subject to various government rules that restrict or limit use. This is particularly true in China, where government rules there prohibit access, create blocks and establish low latency access for many Chinese internet users.  As a consequence, Google China has moved to Hong Kong and Facebook, YouTube and Twitter are still unavailable in China. With Keychain's data center in Hong Kong and advising on internet, data and hosting initiatives, we do not expect that the Company or any of its marketplace partners will face these challenges."

John Madsen, President of Solana, added, "We are very pleased to bring our many years of network infrastructure and connectivity experience to a company with such measured ambition in an extremely high growth industry. Hong Kong's high standards and regulated telecommunications environment has evolved into a global telecom carrier nexus, enabling Solana to establish reliable hub operations and provide flexible data exchange.  This gives Solana the ability to offer truly customized, performance-based internet access that is designed to optimize a client's on-line retail marketplace, and we now look forward to helping the Company do the same."

Sinobiomed Inc., which is in the process of changing its name to Sitoa Global Inc., is an e-commerce facilitator that seeks to enable the next big thing in e-commerce by building and managing leading online marketplaces that integrate online retailers with targeted customers groups interested in their product offerings. The Company's efforts target the growth of e-commerce, media and social networking through strategic transactions. The Company's goal is to provide infrastructure that builds online "e-malls" for retailers designed to attract focused customer communities as part of a social marketplace that expands retail sales channels without the risks of focus dilution and increased capital and operating costs. As part of its revenue model, the Company shares in revenues generated by the marketplace sites in addition to charging one-time integration and hosting fees.
