A woman was unhurt Friday after accidentally driving up a support wire on Lake Washington Boulevard.

According to Bellevue Police, the woman was driving her car westbound, about to turn onto Overlake Drive.

Officers said she failed to yield to oncoming traffic, over-corrected and drove the vehicle up a support wire.

The woman was taken to Overlake Hospital as a precaution.

Police said a crane will be needed to remove the teetering vehicle.

A witness told KING 5 News she stopped at the crash scene minutes after it happened. The woman told her she was OK but didn't want to move around for fear of upsetting the car's delicate balance.
