With all the devices we carry and all the places we go, the best location for our files is often online. Quickoffice, which makes a mini-office suite by the same name for smartphones and tablets, is now offering a premium "cloud" service to sync your mobile devices and computer over the internet and share your documents with others.
Called Connect by Quickoffice, the new service allows you to create, edit and share Quickoffice documents. Changes you make on any of your devices, such as an iPhone, Android tablet or laptop, are immediately reflected on all the others. The app runs natively on iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets and both Mac and Windows computers.
The free version allows viewing of documents, sharing up to five folders and syncing up to 5,000 files and two devices. Paid versions (costing up to $70 per year) add support for more devices, the ability to create documents right in the app and syncing and sharing many more files and folders.
