A restaurant in southwestern China has been fined for offering to serve sushi on the bodies of naked women.

The Beijing Daily Messenger reports the restaurant, located in the city of Kunming, will have to pay a fine of $240.

Health authorities banned the dinner earlier this month, right after advertisements for it came out. It was never held.

The China Daily has reported that residents were “indignant, claiming it is humiliating to women.” But the paper also said “others were curious and tempted to have a try.”

Authorities say restaurant workers lacked required health certificates and were improperly dressed.
