August sure brings out the crazy.

August sure brings out the crazy.

An almost daily roundup of stories that did not make it on to today’s show, for one reason or another.

Eric Holder looks to get rid of mandatory minimum  sentencing, and you won’t believe who’s helping him.

A federal judge ruled that the NYPD’s “stop-and-frisk” program violated the constitutional rights of minorities in New York.

Perhaps you were wondering where Ted Cruz got his unique worldview? Look no further.

August sure brings out the crazy.

TPM unearths this gem, a campaign ad for “the anti-Obamacare neurosurgeon who has founded ‘Doctors for Patient Freedom’ but then got tripped up when he started circulating an anti-Obamacare picture with hammer and sickle and Obama photoshopped as a witch doctor with an ivory nose ring and headdress.” He is now running for city council. in (you guessed it!) St. Petersburg, Florida.

Trump has discovered Vine.

And this is just the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen.
