No injuries, suspect in custody after shots fired at Georgia elementary school

Shots were fired at McNair Discovery Learning Academy in Decatur, Ga., Tuesday afternoon, according to NBC affiliate WXIA. One suspect was taken into custody, and all students, faculty, and staff were accounted for with no injuries reported, according to Quinn Hudson at the DeKalb County School District.

All of the students at the school were evacuated. Parents were told to go to a nearby parking lot at a Walmart to reunite with their children, according to WXIA.

McNair Discovery Learning Academy has students in pre-K through 5th grade.
