Infamous, urban street artist Banksy inconspicuously set up a pop up booth in Central Park with original signed artwork that appeared to be a starving artists work. It wasn’t until Sunday that a post appeared on his website letting all his fans know that they missed their chance. “Yesterday I set up a stall in the park selling 100% authentic original signed Banksy canvases. For $60 each,” Banksy wrote on his website. The post corresponded with a video documenting the days events wherenegotiated
Banksy is about halfway through his month long residency in New York City where he is stirring constant public interest in what he will be releasing next. Waiting for his next post, Banksy’s fans will continue to monitor his website and the next time they see a pop up booth they may not be so quick to rush by as it may be a gold mind.
