Iconic Budweiser Clydesdales Arrive at the Buffalo Chip

The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales and Dalmatian arrived at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Tuesday as part of the final preparations before the rally starts. The 10 clydesdales will be that the Buffalo Chip all rally long. They came on three tractor trailers and it took a little over an hour to set everything up. You can catch these horses at shows throughout the rally where they will be hitched up to the well known big red wagon, or see them at the stables during the day. "It orignated in 1933 as a gift from August Busch Jr. to his father to celebrate the repeal of prohibition and they saw it as a huge marketing symbol and it just took off since then and here we are still traveling around delivering beer and happy faces everywhere," said Kat Metzger, a horse handler.  This is the second year in a row the iconic clydesdales have been to the Buffalo Chip.
