A Sacramento County patient tested for the Ebola virus returned to California earlier this month after traveling to West Africa, state health officials said Wednesday.

The patient is currently being treated at Kaiser Permanent South Sacramento. Test results are expected back in three days, Dr. Gil Chavez of the Centers for Infectious Diseases said during a teleconference Wednesday.
