NASA’s Kepler space telescope spots new exoplanet with Google’s help

A newfound exoplanet called Kepler-90i was discovered around a distant star. Scientists used machine learning technology from Google to examine Kepler data and spot telltale signs of exoplanets. Kepler-90i the eighth planet known (so far) to orbit this star and this means the Kepler-90 system is now tied with the solar system for greatest number of planets around a single star.
