Sen. Sanders wants to get a better idea of what former Sec. Clinton's platform will be before deciding how to proceed with his primary campaign.

It looks like Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is slowly bringing his campaign to a close. On winding down his campaign, Sanders said, “I will be meeting with Secretary Clinton on Tuesday evening, I believe. And we will be chatting about her campaign.”

He told Chuck Todd that his primary goal remains doing everything that he can to "make sure that [Trump] is not elected President of the United States.”

But Sanders wasn't quite ready to throw his full support behind Clinton. “I simply want to get a sense of what kind of platform she will be supporting, whether she will be vigorous in standing up for working families in the middle class, moving aggressively in climate change, healthcare for all, making public colleges and universities tuition-free,” he said.

He continued, “After we have that kind of discussion and after we can determine whether or not we are going to have a strong and progressive platform, I will be able to make other decisions.”
