Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina said Sunday morning that she is pondering a run for the presidency in 2016.
“When people keep asking you over and over again, you have to pause and reflect. So I’ll pause and reflect at the right time,” Fiorina told NBC’s Chuck Todd.
Fiorina unsuccessfully challenged incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer for a California Senate seat in 2010, but that has not kept her from eyeing 2016. Just this year, she launched the “Unlocking Potential Project,” a super PAC geared towards boosting the GOP’s female candidates and teaching politicians how to address woman voters.
Leading up to this year's Election Day, she also hit the campaign trail, visiting New Hampshire, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Michigan and she's not ruling out more trips to Iowa in the future.
“I’ve been to Iowa plenty to help women engage and isn’t it fantastic that Joni Ernst won?” she said.
