In a new video just released by Madame Tussaud’s, NBA basketball star Jeremy Lin gave visitors a little more than they expected at the unveiling of his wax figure.
Dressed in his LA Lakers uniform, "wax figure" Lin posed seated with a basketball, remaining absolutely still and completely silent, as guests sat next to him, one by one, to take photographs. You see where this is going.
The video is worth watching for the many and varied ways in which Lin decides to spook each visitor (slowly looking up with a creepy grin, quickly turning and whispering "boo," darting to a nearby hoop and dunking), and for the range of reactions he elicits from not only complete strangers, but also his own family members.
The only person who couldn't be fooled? Lin's mother, who walks straight up to her son and starts poking him. She, of course, may be wary after a long summer of off-season pranks.
Lin's actual wax figure at Madame Tussaud's in San Francisco shows him hanging from a hoop, feet dangling off the ground.
