For musician and writer Hollis Wong-Wear, pursuing the arts have always been fueled by her passion for creativity, whether it was spoken word or hip-hop. "We as people who want to see social change happen cannot keep putting the total sum of our energies into performing that which exists," Wong-Wear said. "We have to create new realities and new possibilities to really instruct and inform through leadership and through our own manifestation what the future needs to be."
