A third college student was arrested in the alleged gang-rape of a woman on a packed Panama City Beach in Florida, authorities said Wednesday.

George Davon Kennedy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was identified as one of the suspects accused of assaulting the woman in a spring break attack caught on cellphone video, the Bay County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. Kennedy, a student at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, was located in Georgia and arrested on a charge of sexual assault by multiple perpetrators.

His arrest comes after two Troy University students in Alabama were charged Friday in the same incident, which is believed to have taken place between March 10 to 12 in broad daylight as others watched.

Delonte' Martistee, 22, and Ryan Austin Calhoun, 23, have since been suspended from Troy University, NBC affiliate WJHG reported. Calhoun was released on a $50,000 bond Tuesday, while Martistee remained in Bay County jail.

In a news conference, Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen described the footage as "probably one of the most disgusting, repulsive, sickening things" he has witnessed. Authorities say the woman believes she might have been drugged.
