Actress Elizabeth Banks shared some happy news on her website Wednesday -- she and husband Max Handelman welcomed another baby boy into their family.
"Nothing can match the joy and excitement my husband and I felt when we recently welcomed our second baby boy, Magnus Mitchell Handelman," Banks wrote in a post that announced the news. "Magnus joins older brother Felix, thus commencing a decade or more of close hand to hand combat."
Banks went on to explain that like Felix, Magnus was born via a gestational carrier. After Felix's birth, she wrote of the experience saying, "The one true hurdle I've faced in life is that I have a broken belly. After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: we make a 'baby cake' and bake it in another woman's 'oven.'"
But back to life with new baby Magnus: "I now turn my attention to managing two boys under two. For which I am thankful. And all their poop. For which I am less thankful," she wrote. "Wish me luck."
