Amid handshakes and smiles, world leaders assembled Thursday for the traditional "family photo" as the NATO summit kicked off in Wales. Billed as the most important since the end of the Cold War, the summit got underway with calls to stand up to Russia over the Ukrainian crisis and confront Islamic State extremists.
