Justin Bieber Cleared in FAA’s ‘Pot Plane’ Investigation

Troubled pop star Justin Bieber has finally caught a break. The Federal Aviation Administration has cleared the 20-year-old after investigating reports that he and his entourage were allegedly smoking pot on a private jet from Canada to Teterboro, New Jersey, in January. NBC News reported exclusively at the time that Bieber and his father smoked so much marijuana that pilots had to put on oxygen masks. The report of the incident also said that Bieber and his father, Jeremy, “were extremely abusive verbally” to a flight attendant.

The Canadian crooner has been suffering from a string of PR nightmares. In May, videos surfaced of him using a racial slur when he was 15 and Los Angeles police also investigated him for allegedly taking a person's camera who tried to photograph him. Police declined to charge him with a felony robbery in that case.
