1. 50 million at risk of severe weather after weekend twisters

Suspected tornadoes have killed at least two people in Arkansas and damaged a city in Texas. At least 26 twisters were reported on Sunday, and up to 50 million people from Texas to Michigan are at risk of severe weather on Monday. Read more in NEWS.

2. Four charged in shooting deaths of officers in Mississippi

Three men and a woman have been charged in the shooting deaths of two police officers during a traffic stop over the weekend in Mississippi. The charges include capital murder. Read more in NEWS.

3. Carter cuts trip short because of illness

Former President Jimmy Carter has cut short a trip to Guyana because he felt unwell. Carter, 90, was in the South American country to monitor elections on Monday. The Carter Center did not offer details on the illness. Read more in NEWS.

4. Saudi king cancels appearance at Camp David summit

King Salman of Saudi Arabia has canceled a planned trip to a summit of Gulf Arab countries at Camp David this weekend. He’s sending his crown prince instead. A senior U.S. official says it’s not a snub over U.S. nuclear talks with Iran. Read more in NEWS.

5. Fiorina defends record at H-P

Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is defending her record as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, which fired her in 2005. In an appearance on “Meet the Press,” she also cast her lack of elective experience as an asset. Read more from MEET THE PRESS.

6. Meet the women fighting the Taliban

A group of women in Pakistan is training to use heavy weapons to fight the Taliban. One of the commando trainees tells NBC News that everyone has a role in improving the country and protecting other Muslims. Read more in NEWS.

7. Prince Harry: 'I'd love to have kids'

Prince Harry says he’d love to have kids, but he’s still looking to meet the right person. Harry tells British broadcaster Sky News that “it will happen whenever it’s going to happen.” Read more in NEWS.
