Heavy storms and strong winds left severe flooding in Argentina's capital on Wednesday, forcing Buenos Aires residents to evacuate in the wake of torrential rains that lashed the capital. Hundreds of residents from the capital's surrounding regions have been displaced as homes and roads were severely damaged by the rising water. Officials have deployed 5,000 policemen to deliver provisions and aid to some of the worst-affected regions.
