Jenna Ortega stars in Jane the Virgin and Stuck in the Middle, and now she's taking her talent to the animated series "Elena of Avalor."

"I am very proud," Ortega said ro Cafecito's Feliciano García. "When I was trying to become an actress, there weren't a lot of opportunities for Latinas or Latinos, and now the work opportunities for Hispanics are growing. I am proud to be a part of that movement."

Ortega is taking the stage with Radio City's New York Spectacular, hoping to increase representation in theater and on television screens — all at 13 years old.

"Just keep chasing your dreams," Ortega said. "For two years I begged my mom if I could become and actress and she kept saying, 'No, No, No,' until I proved to her that I could do this. Just keep chasing."
