One person suffered minor injuries when an Air Force transport plane flying from Germany to Delaware was diverted to an Air Force base in Massachusetts after it lost pressure Saturday over the Atlantic Ocean, authorities said.

The plane, a Lockheed C-5 B Galaxy carrying 25 crew and passengers from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, to Dover Air Force base, Del., landed about 2:30 p.m. ET at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, Mass.

Rescue crews were deployed at Westover after the plane lost pressure at 34,000 feet about 11 a.m., the Air Force said in a statement. A woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and was expected to be OK, it said.
