Quiz: Are you a member of the new American center?

America is a divided nation, partitioned between red and blue with little in between—right? Not quite, according to a new Esquire-NBC News survey.

The bipartisan study, co-created by leading Republican and Democratic pollsters, found that 51 percent of voters surveyed fall into “the new American center,” a majority bound by a surprising set of shared ideas. The pollsters divided the nation into eight distinct segments: two on the far right ("The Righteous Right" and "The Talk Radio Heads"), two on the far left ("The Bleeding Hearts" and "The Gospel Left"), and four in the middle ("Minivan Moderates," "The MBA Middle," "The Pick-up Populists, and "The #WhateverMan").
