Strong quake shakes buildings in Mexico City

A magnitude-6.1 earthquake rattled Mexico City on Wednesday, the United States Geological Survey said.

The epicenter was in the southern state of Guerrero, just northwest of Ayulta de los Libres, but buildings shook in the capital some 166 miles away.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties following the temblor, which was recorded at a depth of 21 miles.
