Jason Collins Plays First Home Game With the Nets

Jason Collins played his first home game with the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, in Brooklyn.

Collins, the first openly gay NBA player, stepped on the court to a standing ovation with 2:41 left in the game against the Chicago Bulls.

Collins’ 10-day contract expires Tuesday, but the Nets will reportedly sign him to another 10-day contract.

Brooklyn beat Chicago 96-80.
