Professional boxing champion Adrien Broner is wanted for felony assault and robbery in Cincinnati, police told NBC News.

Cincinnati police declined to provide additional details about the allegations, saying only that there are two active warrants for the arrest of Broner, 26, relating to one incident.

A request for comment from Broner was not immediately returned.

Broner, who is from Cincinnati and holds the World Boxing Association’s super lightweight title, has 31 wins — including 23 knock-outs — and two losses.

His next match is scheduled for April 1 against Ashley Theophane, the former British light welterweight champion.
