An Arkansas fugitive who led police on a three-day chase believes in truth in advertising.

"You can run, but you can't hide" read the T-shirt Tieren Watson was wearing when he was arrested late Tuesday at a Little Rock motel in connection with a shooting that left a woman in serious condition in the town of Benton, police said Wednesday.

Benton police said Watson, 26, of Little Rock and the woman got into an argument Saturday night that got out of hand.

The victim, who hasn't been identified, remained in serious condition Wednesday, police said. Watson was being held Wednesday in the Saline County jail on 10 counts, including first-degree battery, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of a firearm by a felon, according to court records.

Information about Watson's previous conviction or convictions wasn't immediately available.
