Only Ellen DeGeneres could help convince a room full of celebrities and dignitaries to do the "Mannequin Challenge."
The beloved talk show host tweeted that she nearly missed the Medal of Freedom ceremony Tuesday because she left her ID at home. But in true Ellen fashion, when she finally made it into the White House, she and some celebrity pals used the ceremony as a chance to make everyone laugh.
Tracee Ellis Ross, daughter of pop diva (and honoree) Diana Ross, helped arrange everyone into their poses, and can be seen laughing with Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks' wife. Robert DeNiro, Bill Gates, Bruce Springsteen and a slew of others also participated in the viral internet trend where people pose as live-action statues.
Even the White House guards were in on the challenge — although they usually stand at attention.
DeGeneres is no stranger to viral internet fame. In 2014, her celebrity-filled Oscar selfie was the most re-tweeted entertainment tweet of the year.
